Lucky Lagoon Slots

Lucky Lagoon Slots is a low budget game with a nice color scheme that is copied and pasted from elsewhere with mixed results. Don’t get us wrong, it’s not bad and we’re not calling anybody out, it just feels phoned in for that reason. It’s largely saved by nice visuals and a good pace of play that manages to pay out fairly often, though that might just be us getting lucky. We didn’t thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent with it, mostly wishing that they’d put in more effort to give it some personality or staying power. As is, it’s largely forgettable, and you may not even recall it after having played it for a round or two.

If you have free time and a spare dollar, you can do a lot worse than Lucky Lagoon Slots. It’s not amazing, but worth your time if you’re already here and itching to win some money. Otherwise, it’s a pretty lazy effort, and you can safely keep looking.

Premise of Lucky Lagoon Slots

The premise of Lucky Lagoon Slots is vaguely animal like. We figured they’d have more fish themed stuff in here, but with the Lagoon being the central concept, they’ve got butterflies and all else bringing up the graphic count. It’s an odd thing given that almost none of the game actually reminds us of a lagoon. As a premise this has potential, but they may as well have called it “here are some animals” with their execution of it.

Presentation in Lucky Lagoon Slots

Graphics in Lucky Lagoon Slots are fine, but copied and pasted and a bit lazy. Everything is crisp, clear, colorful, and compelling to look at, which makes your time spent playing all the easier because of how easy they are on the eyes. The color scheme is good, calm, and relaxing, which we don’t see too often.

Our biggest gripe here are how minimalistic it all is. That works well when ample design sense is applied, but we don’t see that going on anywhere here. As it stands, it looks like they didn’t put too much into it. It being lifted from elsewhere on the UI and even some of the graphics like the wild card don’t help. It cheapens what could have otherwise been a good experience.

Gameplay Mechanics in Lucky Lagoon Slots

Gameplay in Lucky Lagoon Slots is fine, but nothing new. At 5 reels and 5 pay lines, it does not break the mold there, chosing instead to keep things classy in ways we can respect. It’s also very simple to bet, so there’s that going for it.

Betting here ranges from a penny to $10, making this an accessible slot that anyone can jump into in hopes of winning a lot of money without worrying about necessarily breaking the bank in the process. Max bets cap out at $50, which tends to be how we rolled when we played it a bunch for our review. We wish it were higher, but you can’t have everything it would seem.

Who is Lucky Lagoon Slots NOT For?

Although we enjoy this slot, it is not for everybody. In particular, it may not be your cup of tea if this describes you in any fashion:

Is Lucky Lagoon Slots Buggy?

In the time we spent playing this game, we did not encounter any bugs, problems, or errors. The same cannot be said for all slots of this genre, so we commend the developers for a job well done on that. We also encountered no issues in processing winnings or payments, and everything ran very smooth just like you would expect across many varied devices in a variety of ecosystems and operating systems.

Conclusion - The Bottom Line on Lucky Lagoon Slots

Lucky Lagoon Slots is not a bad game, but you likely won’t remember having played it after having moved on with your winnings to see other slots. It pays well, plays well, and does it all in a knock off fashion that won’t sit well with you if the former two items were not so thoroughly true. If you’ve made it to the end of this review, you owe it to yourself to give it a go. If not, you likely aren’t reading this, and we can say whatever we’d like. How was your day? Do you like movies? Sky’s the limit here!

Seriously though, just try it. It’s not that bad.
