Funky Chicks Slots

Funky Chicks Slots is a cute little chicken themed game that thanks to some odd art decisions looks a little wonky and feels under cooked. It has nice hand drawn illustrations that don't come together all that well over a background that looks like it was made during a Photoshop tutorial. We didn't thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent with it, mostly wishing that they'd focused more on the illustration style and less on making things look 'real' or outside of that. If it was all hand drawn, it'd have sung. As it stands, and it doesn't even hum.

If you're morbidly curious and have to win at all the slots, Funky Chicks Slots has a firm place on your agenda. For everyone else, it's so bad it's good, and worth a spin or two for that reason alone.

Premise of Funky Chicks Slots

The premise of Funky Chicks Slots is a farm with a crazy guy with a gun hell bent on shooting his life stock and ruining his return on investment. It's a slot about the worst farmer ever, really, who one day finally lost it and decided to go out in a blaze of glory. It's funny if you stop to think about it, which we don't expect many people will because most of the game is largely forgettable.

Presentation in Funky Chicks Slots

Graphics in Funky Chicks Slots are a mix of decent and horrid. Everything is crisp, clear, colorful, and compelling to look at, which makes your time spent playing all the easier because of how easy they are on the eyes. The illustrations look nice and there's nothing much on that front we would change. The background and suits of cards, and even the logo, are atrocious, however. They either weren't done by the same people, or the artist got shot on his way working towards the end. Either way, they're really bad and we don't have nice things to say about them so we'll leave it at that.

Gameplay Mechanics in Funky Chicks Slots

Gameplay in Funky Chicks Slots is standard. At 5 reels and 25 pay lines, it does not break the mold there, chosing instead to keep things classy in ways we can respect.

Betting here ranges from a penny to $10, making this an accessible slot that anyone can jump into in hopes of winning a lot of money without worrying about necessarily breaking the bank in the process. Max bets cap out at $250, which tends to be how we rolled when we played it a bunch for our review. We like betting high, but wish it were on a prettier game.

The bonus round got shot. In its place now stands the Free Spins Feature, which serves its job well and we have no complaints about.

Conclusion - The Bottom Line on Funky Chicks Slots

Funky Chicks Slots is Looney Toons with chicks and a background so bad you have to look away. It's a train wreck on the visual front, but holds up well for the gameplay. If you can look past all that, and that's a big if, there's a lot to like here that you can't help but love. Give it a spin and let us know what you think! Or if you survived. That barn's really, really bad.
