Shaaark! Slots is basically the low key and low budget Jaws in slot form. It looks okay and plays well enough, but lacks any of the rest of things that you’d come to associate with a well made game. We didn’t thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent with it, mostly wishing that they’d put in more effort here to make something memorable and worth playing. The premise of Shaaark! Slots is low budget Jaws. Everybody knows that film and sharks, and all the tropes of the genre come from there. People wading in the water scared, the look of the sharks themselves. Jaws, Jaws, Jaws. And that’s fine. But it isn’t done with the same care the films were, making for a very forgettable execution of it all.

Graphics in Shaaark! Slots are low budget copy and paste fare. Everything is crisp, clear, colorful, and compelling to look at, which makes your time spent playing all the easier because of how easy they are on the eyes. Since most of it is taken from elsewhere, however, and the background looks like butt, you find yourself feeling a little bad for spending your time with it. It wouldn’t have taken much for the game to look better, as the illustrator clearly knew what they were doing. They chose not to do it very much, however, making this game fade from visual memory the moment you look away.

Gameplay in Shaaark! Slots is standard, copied and pasted like all the rest. At 5 reels and 25 pay lines, it does not break the mold there, chosing instead to keep things classy in ways we can respect.
Betting here ranges from a penny to $10, making this an accessible slot that anyone can jump into in hopes of winning a lot of money without worrying about necessarily breaking the bank in the process. Max bets cap out at $250, which tends to be how we rolled when we played it a bunch for our review.
The bonus round was nixed in favor of the Free Spins Feature, which we’re fine with because that’s what they all tend to amount to anyway. At least they’re honest here.

The same cannot be said for all slots of this genre, so we commend the developers for a job well done on that.
