Money Shot Slots

Money Shot Slots is one of the ugliest basketball games we have ever seen, proving to be so gaudy that it actually manages to be funny. It ends up being so bad it’s good at times, though for that reason it also never manages to soar to the heights of the players themselves. We didn’t thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent with it, mostly wishing that they’d either done a better job with it overall, or went all in with the so bad it’s good aspect.

If you’re a basketball fan in need of a quick fix, this game might do it. If you’re pretty much anyone else, however, or have delicate artistic sensibilities, this game probably isn’t for you. We still recommend giving it a try, however, because that’s the only way to know for sure.

Premise

The premise of Money Shot Slots is basketball. We thought it was a porn slot given the title when we began our review, but rest assured it was just unfortunately named. The title is also part of the reason we felt it might be a parody, but it seems unlikely given the way it all plays it.

Presentation

Graphics in Money Shot Slots are pretty bad and may assault some of your eyes. Everything is crisp, clear, and colorful, but compelling to look at, which makes your time spent playing all the harder because of how difficult they are on the eyes. It’s the kind of ugly only a mother can love, or a true basketball fan. We are neither, so this game didn’t strike much of a cord with us, instead making us feel a bit weird that they made this game at all.

This game’s graphics are kind of like a clown. You wonder how anybody thought that was a good idea, it looks pretty scary, and you end up finding out 1 in a million people like clowns. Coincidentally, this game has rabid fans that look like clowns.

Mechanics

Gameplay in Money Shot Slots is standard. At 5 reels and 20 pay lines, it does not break the mold there, chosing instead to keep things classy in ways we can respect.

Betting here ranges from a penny to $10, making this an accessible slot that anyone can jump into in hopes of winning a lot of money without worrying about necessarily breaking the bank in the process. Max bets cap out at $10, which tends to be how we rolled when we played it a bunch for our review.

The bonus round is called the Money Shot, which we will never stop laughing about.

Who is this Game For?

This game is suitable for players of all types. In particular, it should appeal to:

* Players new to digital slots and looking for something relatively accessible * Moderate intensity players that have gotten their feet plenty wet in the online slots world and are looking for something a little more involved * Jaded slot vets * People that mostly want to win a bunch of money playing digital slot games * Players looking for slot nostalgia for the similarities and differences this slot has to other games * People more used to normal video games that are looking to get their feet wet in the world of online slots

Who is the Game NOT For?

Although we enjoy this slot, it is not for everybody. In particular, it may not be your cup of tea if this describes you in any fashion:

* Averse to winning money online * Looking for something truly innovative in the genre * You find the theme in any way offputting

Is it Buggy?

In the time we spent playing this game, we did not encounter any bugs, problems, or errors. The same cannot be said for all slots of this genre, so we commend the developers for a job well done on that. We also encountered no issues in processing winnings or payments, and everything ran very smooth just like you would expect across many varied devices in a variety of ecosystems and operating systems.

Conclusion

Money Shot Slots is an unfortunately titled game that looks somewhat clownish and is overbearing on your senses. It doesn’t do anything all that well despite paying and playing just fine. We didn’t really like it all that much, but we can see basketball fans having a better time with it. If that sounds like you, or you like B movies because they are poorly made, this is a slot right up your ally. Give it a spin and let us know what you think! You already know we didn’t like it, but we hope to be proven wrong by one of you and enjoy it one day.
