Mermaid's Quest Slots

Mermaid's Quest Slots is an uneven game about half fish folk that comes together oddly but manages to have a lot of charm. It has a child like style of graphics with over saturated colors that feel cute in the same way a child's drawing you put up on the fridge might. We thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent with it, mostly wishing that they'd taken the concept a little bit further or gotten some help on the illustrations for the leading lady.

If you want a slot that pays well and plays well, and are inkling for hot fish chicks, this game was made with you in mind. What are you waiting for? Don't keep reading, go play it! If not, keep reading and we'll convince you.

Premise

The premise of Mermaid's Quest Slots is a half fish girl and her fish friends. She appears to be after some sunken treasure. For what reason we're unsure. Doesn't seem like she'd need the money, or would be able to walk on land to spend it. She's stuck down there, really, and her friends are fish, so it's kind of weird. Like she's questing for a pile of shiny rocks. We don't think the dolphins will appreciate it.

Presentation

Graphics in Mermaid's Quest Slots are all over the place. Everything is crisp, clear, colorful, and compelling to look at, which makes your time spent playing all the easier because of how easy they are on the eyes. The illustrative expressions are pretty bad, but the fish and related drawings all have a lot of charm to them.

The UI leaves something to be designed, and the colors can at times be a little too much, but for the most part it looks fine and cute. We'll give them that.

Mechanics

Gameplay in Mermaid's Quest Slots is standard. At 5 reels and 9 pay lines, it does not break the mold there, chosing instead to keep things classy in ways we can respect.

Betting here ranges from a penny to $10, making this an accessible slot that anyone can jump into in hopes of winning a lot of money without worrying about necessarily breaking the bank in the process. Max bets cap out at $90, which tends to be how we rolled when we played it a bunch for our review.

The Bonus round is called Mermaid's Quest Slots Bonus Round, winning the award for the least inventive name ever made, and likely the only time that will ever appear in a sentence in reference to anything. It's nothing to write home about, but we like the additional winnings it provided.

Is it Buggy?

In the time we spent playing this game, we did not encounter any bugs, problems, or errors. The same cannot be said for all slots of this genre, so we commend the developers for a job well done on that. We also encountered no issues in processing winnings or payments, and everything ran very smooth just like you would expect across many varied devices in a variety of ecosystems and operating systems.

Conclusion

Mermaid's Quest Slots is a low key attempt to make sea faring greatness that doesn't quite sing or soar, but swims along well enough to be worth your time. There's something to be said for a classic and relaxing game that pays you to play it, which this game accomplishes just fine. If you are looking for a new addiction and have some spare change, you can do a lot worse than put it into Mermaid's Quest Slots. We recommend it to players of all ages and types, except hobos, as you've already proven you can't manage your money.
